FAQs

Answers to Your Most Common Questions

  • What is included in a Pediatrics At The Park membership?

Membership gives you direct access to Dr. Gutierrez, longer visits, same or next-day appointments, and home visits within a 24-mile radius. You also get wholesale lab pricing and support for both acute and chronic concerns, with a focus on whole-child wellness.

  • Do you accept insurance or bill insurance companies?

We do not bill insurance or act as in-network providers. Our direct primary care model uses a monthly membership fee, which removes insurance limits and lets us focus on your child’s long-term health and direct physician access.

  • How does Pediatrics At The Park support children with chronic conditions?

We use an integrative approach, blending traditional and functional medicine. Dr. Gutierrez looks for root causes, such as nutrition, toxins, and environment. Our goal is to address underlying imbalances, not just treat symptoms.

  • What neighborhoods and areas do you serve for home visits?

We serve families in Winter Park, Baldwin Park, College Park, and nearby areas within a 24-mile radius of our Winter Park office. Home visits are a key benefit for members in these neighborhoods.

  • Is there a waitlist or limited availability for new members?

Yes, we limit our panel to about 200 to 250 children to provide personalized care. Space is limited and membership fees may rise as the panel fills. Signing up early secures your spot and current rate.

  • What is a Meet & Greet and how do I schedule one?

A Meet & Greet is a 15 to 20 minute, non-clinical visit where you tour our office, meet Dr. Gutierrez or Lee, and talk about your family’s needs. No medical care is given. Schedule online or contact our office for details.

  • Can non-members book pediatric visits or get urgent care?

We focus on members. Non-member visits are very limited and only offered if membership spots are open. We suggest joining to get full access to our care and services.

  • How are urgent needs or after-hours questions handled?

Members have direct phone and text access to Dr. Gutierrez for urgent issues or questions. Most concerns are handled quickly, even after hours. For emergencies, always call 911.
